Self Managed Home Care Packages Brisbane

Meet your local Home Care Advisor

Meet Bonny, our local Care Advisor supporting older people and families in the Bribie Island region.

Bonny began her career in aged care at just 21 in a residential setting and brings more than 25 years of experience across aged care, community services, health promotion and nutrition. For the past 11 years, she has worked in care management, with experience spanning frontline support, staff management and training, and advocacy.

Her qualifications include an Honours Degree in Science, a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Certificate IV in Community Services, Certificate III in Aged and Community Care, Certificate III in Nutrition, and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Bonny has been actively involved in community organisations, including falls prevention programs and senior-focused initiatives. She is passionate about ensuring older Australians have access to quality care that supports them to remain at home with dignity and choice.

Having cared for her father in the later stages of his life after the passing of her mother, Bonny understands firsthand how complex and emotional navigating aged care can be. She values the wisdom and contribution of older members of our community and believes good care looks at the whole person. For her, that means considering not just clinical needs, but also nutrition, social connection, motivation and overall wellbeing, and working closely with families to tailor support across the care continuum.

Bonny lives on Bribie Island with her 15-year-old son and has been part of the local community for nine years. Outside of work, she enjoys walking along the island paths, fishing, swimming, kayaking and spending time in the garden.
