Liz brings over three years’ experience in aged care, along with 20 years in account management and customer service. She has worked across aged care and allied health environments, including therapy-based roles supporting Allied Health Professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.

She holds a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and has a particular interest in dementia care, supporting people to remain independent, safe, and comfortable in their own homes.

Liz’s approach is informed by lived experience, having supported her grandfather while he lived with dementia. This experience shaped her commitment to dignity, trust, and respectful care.

Liz is driven by ensuring clients have choice, control, and continuity in their care. She values reliability, consistency, and building genuine relationships. Originally from the UK, Liz moved to Australia four years ago with her family and enjoys netball, the beach, and making a positive difference in someone’s day.

    ACAT undertakes a comprehensive assessment of care needs for older people needing access to residential and/or home (community) care, and helps the elderly and their carers to determine what kind of support will best meet their needs.

    Target group are older people, typically over the age of 65 or for indigenous Australians, people over the age of 50, or people who have an age related condition.

    Often comprises of a doctor, nurse, social worker and occupational therapist, the team will recommend services deemed to be the most appropriate to meet care needs through a series of questions, and with the client’s consent will liaise with families/carers and health care providers.

    Referral Procedure, by care recipient themselves or others:

    • The care recipient, carer, family must be aware of and consent to the referral
    • All referrals are to be made via MyAgedCare: 1800 200 422
