What is the 2% Merchant fee?

Capital Guardians is the financial platform that manages the Home Care Package funding for Local Guardians’ clients. A 2% merchant fee is applied to all invoices processed through Capital Guardians, similar to fees charged by Mastercard, Visa, or PayPal. This fee cannot be passed on to clients nor paid using their Home Care Package funds.

It is important to note that this fee is set by and paid to Capital Guardians.

The 2% merchant fee covers the following services:

– Weekly payment of approved invoices every Friday (up to 6 weeks before reimbursement from government home care claims is received).
– Promotion of your organisation within Capital Guardians’ online service finder, accessible to thousands of NDIS and Aged Care clients.
– Streamlining compliance by sharing essential documents like police checks, ABN, and insurance. Providers can also differentiate their compliance status through the service finder.
– Full online access to transaction and payment history for ease of record-keeping and transparency.
