Our self-managed home care model may be suitable if you’d like to take a hands-on approach to managing your Home Care Package. If you value the freedom to shape your own care, make informed decisions and actively participate in managing your package, there’s a good chance we’d make a great team! It’s important to note that in order to self manage you’ll require access to and ability to use a computer (or support from someone who can help you).

Karen’s involvement in the community services sector spans thirty-five years including as a parent, worker, manager, and teacher in the areas of Disability, Aged Care, and Community Development.
Karen’s qualifications and experience include orientation for workers, managing consumer-directed care, Dementia, Bachelor of Social Science- Community Services, Social impact assessment. Karen specialised in cultural diversity and indigenous studies. She also holds a Diploma in Disabilities along with a Diploma in Community Services.
