Carers

Carers are contracted staff who visit and provide care services. Carers are selected by the recipients of services (you!).

We will work with you to select caregivers that are a good fit.  You may user our online search tool for carers and/or care organisations, by profession, in your area who currently work with us.  In some cases you may already know who you want your caregivers to be. Caregivers will need to be screened by us to make sure they meet certain requirements, including having an agreement with us, police checks, insurance, and other key criteria. This is necessary to assure your safety and that your caregiver will provide you with high quality care and services.

Each care recipient either “self-manage” or has a independent Care Manager who is their first point of contact with any questions or concerns regarding their services.  The individual or Care Manager can be responsible for assessment, care planning and implementation of care and support services.
